We are hiring Bartenders to support beverage operations at our special events**.**Bartenders are responsible for delivering efficient, friendly, and professional beverage service while ensuring compliance with all Smart Serve protocols. This is a fast-paced role requiring accuracy, strong customer service, and full availability for the entire event. This role is an addition to headcount.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set up the bar according to Management specifications, ensuring adequate stock of ice, beer, wine, spirits, non-alcoholic beverages, garnishes, and bar supplies.
- Deliver professional, courteous, and timely service to guests.
- Take, prepare, and serve beverage orders with accuracy and proper pour measurements.
- Operate the POS system to process transactions and handle payments.
- Restock fridges, bars, and service stations throughout the shift.
- Follow Smart Serve guidelines and adhere to all alcohol service policies.
- Track inventory and communicate replenishment needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, following event sanitation standards.
- Assist teammates and support staff; contribute to a cooperative team environment.
- Complete end-of-shift duties including cleaning, restocking, and breakdown of equipment.
SCREENING QUESTIONS
- Are you legally eligible to work in Canada?
- Do you have any restrictions on the number of hours you can work per week?
- Are you able to reliably commute or travel to the event location?
- Do you hold a valid Smart Serve Certification?
- Are you available to work every day for the duration of the event?
QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid Smart Serve Certification (required).
- Previous bartending or food & beverage experience strongly preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
- Accurate cash handling and POS experience.
- Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to working all event days.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Standing for long periods (10–12 hours).
- Frequent walking, bending, lifting, and reaching.
- Lifting cases of beverages, ice bags, and bar supplies up to 25 lbs.
- Handling bar tools, POS terminals, and beverage equipment.
POSITION SALARY & BENEFITS
- Rate: CA$18.00 per hour
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, weekdays, and weekends as required.
