Winter Equipment Operator
Job Type:
Fixed-term contract (November 2025-April 2026)
Pay Rate:
$28-$35 per hour
Main Purpose of Job:
Safely and efficiently manage an assigned snow route with the necessary equipment.
Reports to:
Regional Winter Supervisor
Maintenance, Enhancements, and Snow Division Manager
Duties and Responsibilities:

Able to safely operate one or more of the following equipment: tractor with plow, truck with plow, skid steer, loader
-
Responsible for all winter snow clearing and related activities as assigned by Managers and Supervisors

Responsible for completing assigned routs in and efficient and timely manner
-
Ensuring that Company’s high safety and quality standards are followed
-
Responsible for timesheets and other required documentation to be done accurately and in a timely manner, using Company software applications such as LMN
-
Heavy lifting is a requirement and a key part of the job
-
Safe handling of gasoline, oils, diesel fuels, grease and other equipment related fluids etc.

Shop work, vehicle and equipment maintenance activities as assigned
-
Requires on-call availability 24-7, with 1 hour response time
-
Willingness to work in all types of weather and at irregular times
Working Conditions:
-
Employees will be asked to work in mild to very cold weather conditions. This may include icy roads and stormy skies
-
In all seasons, employees need to be prepared to be asked to work in rainy conditions and to bring appropriate gear such as rain jackets
-
Crew members can expect to occasionally be exposed to chemicals such as gasoline and lubricants
Physical Requirements:
Strength Guidelines
- Can expect to be asked to lift up to 50 lbs.
Motion Parameters

Crew members can expect to be on their feet for long periods of time. The job requires walking, bending and repetitive lifting
