Compensation and Benefits

• Range from $24 - $27 per hour
• Paid overtime after 40/hours per week

General Job Description:

This position will report to the PC Supervisor

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain packaging instructions, quotes and trials.
• Coordinate and maintain new packaging, packaging matrix update, V-PACS update, update forms, build ahead, & service parts packaging.
• Back up packaging design, quoting and ordering
• Packaging issue investigation & resolution
• Build ahead packaging
• Broken returnables coordination
• Component Packaging management, design & ordering
• Track usage of customer back up cardboard.
• Submit reimbursing report for cardboard usage to TGNA.
• RFID activity for all customers
• Problem Solving - Proactively identify and resolve packaging concerns. Analyze data, identify risks and develop solutions.
• Collaboration – Work with internal teams to ensure efficient communication and process alignment
• Ability to lift and carry 30 pounds
• Monthly inventory support.
• Work in a safe manner and maintain 5S.
• TG Minto may amend the reporting structure and/or duties and responsibilities as business needs require.
• Job must be performed within H&S guidelines
• Control and monitor safety stock
• Other duties as assigned
• Travel to customers and fabricators

Qualifications:

• Ability to create and monitor spreadsheets
• Ability to understand MRP system - J.D. Edwards
• Post-secondary education
• Very good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong mathematical and problem solving skills
• Must have an excellent attendance record
• Must be able to prioritize work and juggle multiple assignments
• If all other factors are equal seniority will be used.
