Job Description
What You’ll Do:
As part of the OTIP Group of Companies (OGC) Technology Enablement (TE) team and the Orbit Integration Team, the Senior Manager, Infrastructure Integration, provides strategic leadership in the integration of technology infrastructure, user endpoints, applications, and cybersecurity practices following broker acquisitions by Orbit. This role ensures alignment with OGC’s enterprise architecture, security standards, and operational practices, while maintaining business continuity and minimizing disruption. The Senior Manager also supports M&A due diligence, drives cost and performance optimization, and facilitates the seamless transition of technology operations to the OGC TE team.
The core parts of your role will be to:

Partners with the TE team to ensure all integration efforts align with OGC’s data governance, cybersecurity, and compliance frameworks.

Develops and recommends actionable tactics, strategies, and plans to ensure a successful and sustainable integration.

Leads the planning and execution of infrastructure and security integration activities for acquired organizations, including networks, servers, cloud environments, and end-user devices.

Vendor and contract negotiation oversight; Collaborate with and provide guidance to OGC and the original vendors of acquired entities to ensure the successful completion of integration activities

Facilitates the seamless transition of technology operations from acquired entities to the OGC Technology team, ensuring minimal disruption and clear accountability.

Identifies and implements opportunities for cost optimization, including vendor consolidation, infrastructure rationalization, and cloud efficiency.

Provides continuous support and proactively troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth technological integration.

Ensures that post integration activities are completed; oversee the secure decommissioning of legacy systems, applications, and infrastructure, ensuring proper data migration and risk mitigation.

Provides infrastructure and security expertise during M&A due diligence, including risk assessments and integration planning.

Change management and communication planning; Maintains clear communication with executive stakeholders, providing regular updates on integration progress, risks, and financial impacts.

Establishes and tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure integration success, ensuring continuous improvement and accountability.

Assists in budget planning and monitor integration efforts to ensure alignment with financial constraints.
Qualifications
Let’s Talk About You:
This is the unique blend of skills and experience we would love to see in an ideal candidate:
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- 12+ years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure and networking, with at least 6 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience leading post-M&A technology integrations, including operational transitions and due diligence.
- Deep knowledge of Microsoft technologies, Azure, Entra ID, M365, and enterprise security frameworks.
- Demonstrated leadership in the planning, deployment, and oversight of network and infrastructure operations.
- Experience managing infrastructure integrations across multi-site or multi-entity environments is an asset.
- Strong understanding of data governance, compliance, and IT operational best practices.
- Knowledge of IT Frameworks such as ITIL, TOGAF, and others is considered an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, budgets, and cross-functional teams.
- Prior experience in the Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance industry is preferred.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Fluently bilingual in both official languages.
