Job Description
The Sales Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting sales data to support strategic decision-making. In this role, you will track sales performance, identify market trends, create forecasts, and prepare clear reports for management teams. Your work is essential for optimizing results and helping the region reach its goals. You will also manage the entire process for in-house rebate agreements for the region.
The Challenges Awaiting You
- Gather data from our systems (Power BI, Cognos, etc.) and ensure the data is high-quality and reliable.
- Set up and maintain the database for in-house and associate rebate agreements.
- Analyze sales by product and customer segment. Identify trends and opportunities, and develop hypotheses.
- Prepare regular reports for management (sales reports, consumption reports, and promotion reports) and update dashboards for real-time tracking.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to improve performance and participate in strategic meetings to guide the sales and operations teams.
- Respond to various requests regarding major account agreements, rebates, and SAM.
- Gather information on the competition and the market, and analyze how competitor actions impact our sales.
- Work with the Sales, Finance, Operations, Product, and Marketing teams to align data and objectives.
Qualifications
- College diploma (DEC) in Administration.
- Knowledge of the automotive market (an asset).
- Knowledge of the MS Office suite and strong skills with IT tools, such as Power BI.
- Ability to analyze and interpret results regarding sales, consumption, profitability, and margins.
- Must be comfortable communicating in French and English
