Department Information

Housing NWT provides access to adequate, suitable and affordable housing through the provision of housing programs and services based on need.

Job Information

This is your opportunity to affect change and shape Housing in the Northwest Territories. You would participate in the research, design, development, implementation and communication, of the Housing Northwest Territories (NWT) homeownership and rental housing programs. You would also coordinate, monitor and evaluate the programs on an ongoing basis. In carrying out these duties, you would be providing ongoing consultation, advice, and support to District Offices in order to achieve the Housing NWTs strategic objectives for providing homeownership programming that is responsive to community housing needs.

Key Requirements:

A degree in Social Sciences or Business Administration and two (2) years of relevant work experience in the area of program development.

Equivalencies:

  • A diploma in Social Sciences or Business Administration and four (4) years of relevant work experience in the area of program development.
  • Two years of relevant experience in the area of program development is required, whether a Master's or a Bachelor's degree.
