Who we're looking for:

The Facilities Specialist will oversee operations and capacity related projects within critical infrastructure environments. This ranges from managing small-scale upgrades and maintenance tasks such as HVAC replacements, battery swaps, and preventive maintenance to site expansion projects (ex new generator, space expansion). The role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

Location: We are open to hire for our Fredericton, Moncton, St. John's, Halifax or Ottawa location.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and reports.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct site visits to ensure safety and quality compliance.
  • Manage construction invoicing and resolve project issues.
  • Oversee asset lifecycle upgrades and preventive maintenance.
  • Ensure regulatory and safety compliance.
  • Manage third-party vendors and contractors.
  • Provide training related to infrastructure systems.
  • Analyze and optimize site performance.
  • Respond to site operational concerns.

What you bring:

  • Strong project management fundamentals.
  • Hands-on experience with critical infrastructure and data center environments.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings.
  • Knowledge of AC/DC power systems and backup infrastructure (generators, UPS, batteries).
  • Familiarity with monitoring systems and protocols.
  • Flexibility for frequent travel to project sites.
  • Prior experience with the client organization.
  • Experience in space optimization (cooling, power, layout).
  • PMP certification (asset)
  • P.Eng (asset)
