Company Description Learning Disabilities Association of Alberta (LDAA) has been supporting Alberta families, educators, adults, and professionals for over 55 years with information, education, and resources related to learning disabilities. The organization is dedicated to empowering the 1 in 10 Canadians living with learning disabilities through its core priorities: Educate, Collaborate, and Advocate. LDAA offers webinars, courses, and programs to build knowledge and foster positive change for people impacted by learning disabilities. It collaborates with organizations across Alberta to share relevant resources and connections, and advocates to raise awareness, influence decision makers, and promote the rights and inclusion of individuals with learning disabilities and their families. Role Description The Education Programs Manager is a .6-.75 FTE remote role responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating education programs that align with LDAA’s mission and priorities. This role oversees the design and delivery of the LDAA Learning Series, including webinars, courses, and other educational offerings for educators, parents, service providers, and adults. Day-to-day tasks include managing program timelines, creating partnerships that grow LDAA programs, assisting with events and other organization initiatives, attending conferences, growing the Learner's Licence Prep Kit program, participant engagement, and ensuring content is accurate. The Education Programs Manager will also collect feedback and data to improve program quality, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and contribute to communication materials that promote LDAA’s educational initiatives. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Program Management and Program Development to design, coordinate, and evaluate education initiatives. Candidates should possess skills in Curriculum Development and Education to create effective, learner-centered content and resources. Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to engage diverse stakeholders, present information clearly, and collaborate across teams and organizations. Experience and knowledge of supporting individuals with learning disabilities, neurodiverse communities, or in special education is highly beneficial. Post-secondary education in Education, Instructional Design, Social Sciences, or a related field is an asset. Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple priorities, and use digital tools for program delivery and coordination. Experience with online learning platforms, webinar tools, and basic data collection or reporting to assess program outcomes is an advantage.
