OCCASIONAL TEACHER RECRUITMENT (Home Instruction position for Holy Cross CSS)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ontario Teaching Certificate in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers

  • Primary or Junior or Intermediate or Senior (all subject areas for Secondary panel)

  • Special Education Part I

This position will be a 6 hour a week commitment with work to be performed in the students home.

The successful Occasional Teacher will be paid the daily con-current education rate as outlined in the Collective Agreement.

A Criminal Background Check is not required at this stage. An acceptable current original Criminal Background Check including the Vulnerable Sector Screening component will be requested as a condition of employment by the Human Resource Services department of our Board following a formal interview, and prior to you commencing employment as an occasional or permanent teacher with our Board.
