As a Human Resources (HR) Application Analyst, you will be responsible for application sustainment and configuration of SaaS/cloud-based platforms, including Adaptive Learning Platforms (ALP), Learning Management Systems (LMS), and modules supporting performance development, succession management, and learning management. You will work closely with Information Technology, external vendors, and other partners ensuring the system remains aligned with corporate needs. Primary duties include: Configure and maintain SaaS/cloud-based system components and data, troubleshoot issues, perform testing and verification, and keep the system current with vendor software releases. Support and promote system adoption across the organization by addressing business unit needs and configuring tailored solutions on SaaS/cloud-based platforms, with a focus on performance development, succession management, and learning management modules. Collaborate with interested parties, vendors, clients, and other partners to ensure continued integration of the HR platforms including the talent management system and support an effective change management approach. Lead, engage, and maintain networks of corporate advocates such as the Learning Management System working group. Support employees, leaders, Human Resources, and the learning and development community with troubleshooting and resolving system and data issues. Create and maintain documentation such as standard system operating procedures, e-learning, and quick reference guides and develop and deliver in-person training for users. Determine, create, and run standard reporting requirements and provide system data based on the needs of interested parties. Audit system access and use to ensure corporate standards are met and maintained.
Qualifications
A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field with at least 5 years of experience working in Human Resources or Information Technology. Advanced knowledge and experience with Adaptive Learning Platform (ALP), Learning Management System (LMS), or similar SaaS/cloud-based platforms, including system maintenance and configuration experience is required. Working knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL), Python, Power BI, and/or SAP Business Objects will be considered assets. A demonstrated customer focus, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships is essential. Success in this position requires personal accountability, well-developed problem-solving abilities, a high attention to detail, and a results-oriented focus.

Workstyle
This position may be eligible to work from home for at least part of the time as one of several flexible work options available to City employees. These arrangements depend on the operational requirements of the role, employee suitability, and are subject to change based on operational needs and corporate direction.
