Giftcraft 2025 Inc. is a newly revitalized company building on the legacy of Giftcraft’s brand in the home décor and giftware industry. Under new ownership, the business is in an exciting phase of transformation, aiming to re-establish Giftcraft as a market leader with a fresh strategy, team, and product vision.
We are looking for a forward-thinking and hands-on HR leader to help build and integrate people strategies across both organizations during this critical growth and transformation period.
Summary:
The Human Resource Manager will lead all HR functions including recruitment, employee relations & engagement, performance management, policy development and organizational culture. This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies

Develop and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with company goals

Provide guidance and support to managers on employee relations, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans

Manage compensation and benefits, and assist payroll administration in partnership with Accounting
-
Drive employee engagement and culture initiatives
-
Ensure compliance with all employment laws and workplace regulations
-
Support change management during organizational restructuring and transition
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
-
5+ years of HR generalist or management experience
-
CHRP/CHRL designation preferred
-
Strong knowledge of Ontario & BC employment standards
-
Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
-
Experience in wholesale, retail or consumer goods industry an asset
