Under new ownership, the business is in an exciting phase of transformation, aiming to re-establish Giftcraft as a market leader with a fresh strategy, team, and product vision.

We are looking for a forward-thinking and hands-on HR leader to help build and integrate people strategies across both organizations during this critical growth and transformation period.

Summary:
The Human Resource Manager will lead all HR functions including recruitment, employee relations & engagement, performance management, policy development and organizational culture. This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with company goals

  • Provide guidance and support to managers on employee relations, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans

  • Manage compensation and benefits, and assist payroll administration in partnership with Accounting

  • Drive employee engagement and culture initiatives

  • Ensure compliance with all employment laws and workplace regulations

  • Support change management during organizational restructuring and transition

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field

  • 5+ years of HR generalist or management experience

  • CHRP/CHRL designation preferred

  • Strong knowledge of Ontario & BC employment standards

  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills

  • Experience in wholesale, retail or consumer goods industry an asset
