The salary range for this position is $65,000 - $70,000 CAD based upon store location. Offered salary is dependent upon experience and location.
The Role: As the Store Manager, you will not only oversee the day-to-day operations of the store but will also create a fun, engaging and positive atmosphere that both guests and employees will all want to be a part of.
What We Are Looking For:
- Strong background in leadership, team building and delegation (minimum of 3 years’ management experience is required)
- The ability to work in close partnership and coordination with Director of Stores and leadership team to drive sales and KPI performance, and ensure the business runs efficiently and successfully
- Experience and ability to manage all facets of store operations, including scheduling and payroll, reservation management, inventory oversight and supplies ordering
- A passion for providing exceptional guest service and promoting an upbeat party atmosphere
- Ability to engage guests while multitasking and time managing to ensure seamless experiences
- A strong drive for results with a proven ability to motivate a team through coaching and constructive feedback (employee relations and performance management experience required)
- Experience with recruiting, team training, development and coaching within a strong, diverse team
- Someone who leads by example with a positive, can-do attitude and generous spirit, always going above and beyond for both guests and team members
- Proficiency with Excel, MS Word, Outlook, and SharePoint
- Open availability (weekends and holidays required)
- Comfortable in a fast paced, high-volume work environment
- Physically able to meet the demands of the job including the ability to stand for prolonged periods of time, lift to 30 lbs, including the ability to kneel and squat
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally for company events, meetings and trainings when necessary
What You Will Do:
- Work closely with Director of Stores to drive the business, maximize store sales potential and lead the team, including analyzing and sharing KPI and business trends (e.g. payroll, AOV), developing store action plans and ensuring strong team-wide communication and accountability Write weekly schedules in line with sales forecast and payroll goals, as well as managing employee timecards and time off requests
- Optimize the business through strategic, daily management of guest booking system, including managing party booking process, guest inquiries and complaints
- Partner, train, coach and support Assistant Store Manager and Leads across all aspects of the business to successfully cultivate a high-performing leadership team
- Oversee efficiency across all areas of store operations, ensuring Good Manufacturing Practice standards, operational SOP’s are consistently followed and hygiene and safety standards are always maintained
- Provide consistent and on-the-spot coaching and constructive feedback to all team members that fosters trust and growth
- Partner with Director of Stores and HR on employee performance management processes, ensuring timely action and high level of personal and team accountability to Lip Lab P&P and Code of Conduct
- Lead all store recruiting, interviewing and new hire processes, ensuring new hires are onboarded, trained and set up for success
- Jump in as a Color Expert where needed to support services, guiding with your expertise to ensure exceptional guest experiences every time
- Lead a culture of recognition, appreciation and celebration for your team through positive reinforcement and leveraging Lip Lab Master’s Employee Recognition Program
- Always represent Lip Lab with a high level of professional conduct, leading and embodying both Kendo and Lip Lab Values and Principles
