Job Title: CAD Technician/Estimator

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD models and drawings using SolidWorks
• Work closely with customers to create and refine designs
• Review and interpret technical specifications and requirements
• Prepare job estimates and gather information on materials and parts
• Ensure all drawings and models are accurate and complete
• Assist in compiling project documentation and reports
• Perform quality control checks on finalized designs
• Keep up to date with industry trends and advancements in CAD technology
• Create CNC programs using ALMA CAM or similar software (training provided)

Requirements

• Proven experience as a CAD Technician or in a similar role
• Proficient in SolidWorks and CNC programming software
• Strong understanding of drafting standards and techniques
• Familiarity with building codes and regulations
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
• Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
• Experience in the metal fabrication industry is essential
