Location: Lake Country, BC
Compensation: $25.00 - $30.00, depending on experience and skills.
Schedule: Rotating schedule (includes some weekends), featuring 10hr daytime shifts.
Tri Lake Animal Hospital & Referral Centreis excited to welcome a dedicated**Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT)**to our team of skilled veterinary professionals. We want great team players who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and who are passionate about delivering a high standard of patient care, as well as exceptional client service.
Our Techs have a unique opportunity to experience a wide variety of cases, working with both companion animals and exotic species.
- Have completed a Veterinary Technician program, and are currently registered or able to register with the BCVTA.
- New graduates with knowledge of physical examinations, patient assessment, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, venipuncture, and pharmacy - welcome to apply! We love growing new graduates!
- Surgical preparation, assisting and patient recovery.
- Ability to keep detailed and accurate patient records.
- Compassionate care for our hospitalized patients and their pet parents
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to problem-solve or the ability to ask clarifying questions to help you find solutions.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills in working with your colleagues and pet parents.
- Passion to learn more within the role.

We offer wellness and emergency care for cats, dogs, rabbits, birds, reptiles and other exotics. Our hospital is equipped with a full in-house lab, CT scanner, ultrasound, digital radiology suite, endoscopy and 24-hour staffing.
