Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced, confident, and decisive Practice Manager to lead the Stellarton clinic. This is a management role designed for an experienced RVT that can navigate the challenges of a demanding profession while fostering a healthy and positive working environment. The Practice Manager will collaborate closely with the Regional Manager to support business growth, clinical structure, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily leadership and support for all clinical and administrative staff
- Make informed, timely, and sometimes difficult operational and personnel decisions
- Oversee clinic operations, including scheduling, inventory, billing, compliance, and client service
- Promote a positive, collaborative, and respectful workplace culture
- Support staff development, performance management, and recruitment efforts
- Collaborate with the Regional Manager on business development initiatives and clinical/technical improvements
- Monitor clinic performance metrics and implement improvements as needed
- Support and develop clinical and client growth initiatives by enhancing patient care, strengthening client relationships, and collaborating with the Regional Manager to expand services and community reach.
Qualifications:

Completion of a Veterinary Technology program and successful completion of the VTNE and licensed with provincial licensing boards is a requirement for this position.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in veterinary medicine

Previous management or leadership experience in a veterinary or related healthcare setting is a preferred asset.

Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Strong leadership and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage complex situations confidently.

Excellent time and task management skills.

Familiarity working with the Office365 environment.
