YOUR MISSION

  • Manage accounts payable operation and team coordination:

    • Plan and organize key activities related to accounts payable invoices processing.
    • Supervise daily operations of the accounts payable team, in an automated, international and multi-currency environment.
    • Be responsible for training and onboarding department members.
    • Act as a backup for other team lead within the department when required.
  • Manage accounts payable systems (SAP/Serrala), processes, and continuous improvement:

    • Identify process improvements and automation opportunities aligned with SAP functionalities and participate to implementation.
    • Participate in system updates and ensure the continuity of all related integrations.
  • Perform reporting and quarter end analysis:

    • Prepare weekly analyses related to cash flow forecasting and actuals.
    • Prepare and review quarter end analysis.
    • Monitor accounts payable aging and perform detailed supplier account analysis.
    • Produce and analyze performance reports and key indicators for the department, and take appropriate actions based on results.
  • Maintain optimal internal controls to ensure compliance in accounts payables management and with corporate and regulatory requirements.

  • Manage taxes related activities:

    • Ensure the proper application of taxes in the context of international purchases, as well as withholding taxes for non‑residents, in accordance with established laws and procedures, in collaboration with the tax department.
    • Collaborate to record information to issue tax slips and collaborate the issuance processes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, externals partners and cross‑functional teams, including IT, Procurement and Treasury.

YOUR UNIQUE EXPERTISE

  • A college diploma with accounting certificate.
  • Five years of experience in Accounts Payable field.
  • Solid system knowledge, including SAP & Serrala (AP management)
  • The sense of responsibility.
  • Supervison experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software, particularly Excel.
  • Great autonomy and teamwork ability.
  • Flexibility and resourcefulness.
  • Fluency in French and English (spoken and written).
  • Remote work, 1 day per week
