We are seeking a skilled IT Network Support Engineer with expertise in cloud networking, branch office networking and Zscaler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security.

As a Network Support Engineer your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide network administration and support for branch office and Azure cloud infrastructure
  • Assist with architectural design, planning and deployment of network and network security technologies
  • Act as a network subject matter expert in projects working with cross-functional teams
  • Administer network security technologies including but not limited to HTTP and web security gateways, proxies, caches, firewalls, SSL/TLS, GRE, and IPsec tunneling, VPN’s, DLP, anti-virus, spam and spyware solutions, advanced threat detection and analytics
  • Implement and manage Aruba LAN solutions, including switches, access points, and network access control
  • Configure and maintain cloud-based firewall services, including policy management and threat detection
  • Implement and manage Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) solutions
  • Monitor network performance and security, troubleshooting issues to ensure availability and reliability
  • Follow change management processes, including the creation and review of change requests
  • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate network security solutions with existing systems and applications
  • Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps
  • Provide level 3 incident support
  • Provide operational activities when required after-hours and on weekends

  • 5+ years of professional experience in IT Operations
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Azure networking services, Aruba LAN technologies and Palo Alto Prisma Access
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols and concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs
  • Knowledge of network security best practices and compliance standards in cloud environments
  • Knowledge of Azure network design principles
  • Strong analytical thinking, the ability to analyze complex problems and use a systematic approach to find solutions
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to lift/move up to 25 pounds
