The Senior Manager, Dynamics 365 Application Support is responsible for leading the technical application support function for Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) and Finance & Operations (F&O). This role combines technical leadership, solutions architecture oversight, operational governance, and cross functional collaboration to ensure the stability, scalability, and strategic evolution of the enterprise D365 platform. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise and the ability to design and implement a modern support and triage model that enhances service quality and business outcomes.
As a Senior Manager, Dynamics 365 Application Support your responsibilities will include: Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop the D365 CE and F&O application support teams; model a culture of technical excellence, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Build deep team capabilities in D365 solution architecture, advanced troubleshooting, integrations, automation, and emerging platform technologies.
Governance & Architecture
- Define and maintain enterprise governance frameworks, architectural standards, and operational best practices to ensure reliability, data integrity, and security compliance.
- Oversee data quality management (monitoring, root-cause analysis, system health reporting) and drive initiatives to standardize data models and processes across CE and F&O.
- Serve as the influential voice on platform design decisions, balancing scalability, cost, risk, and user experience.
Service Delivery & Support Model
- Design a support strategy and operationalize a modern support model: intake workflows, prioritization tiers, SLAs, escalation protocols, and a living knowledge base
- Direct Level 2 support operations; lead resolution of complex, cross‑system issues requiring deep technical analysis and structured problem-solving.
- Enforce rigorous change management practices (impact assessments, release approvals, deployment oversight, and post‑implementation reviews).
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate closely with business application owners, process leads, and operational teams to understand business challenges and design effective, scalable D365 solutions.
- Demonstrate ability to influence senior stakeholders and manage vendors/partners.
Technology & Solution Delivery
- Collaborate on the design, implementation, and operation of integrations between D365 and surrounding systems
- Plan, coordinate, and execute D365 upgrades, service releases, and platform updates with minimal business disruption.
- Evaluate and adopt new D365 features, Power Platform capabilities, and Azure integration technologies to improve automation, efficiency, and user experience.

- 5+ years’ leadership experience within the Dynamics 365 ecosystem (CE/F&O), including managing technical or application support teams.
- 8+ years’ hands on technical experience with D365 solutions, including configuration, integrations, customizations, or solution architecture work.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or other relevant discipline.
- Certifications in Agile, ITIL, cloud (GCP/Azure), or project management (PMP/ACP) considered an asset
- Experience participating in or leading a Dynamics 365 implementation (CE, F&O, or both) is an asset
- Proven track record managing enterprise-scale, customized D365 environments in a complex operational context.
- Strong understanding of Power Platform, Azure, data models, and security/compliance practices.
- Solid understanding of business accounting and financial processes relevant to F&O functionality.
- Exceptional communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for business audiences.

We benchmark regularly across a wide spectrum of roles, industries, sectors, and levels to ensure our ranges are both competitive and current . But we don’t stop there. We also consider the unique strengths, experiences, and impact each individual brings to the table. Our salary ranges are reviewed annually, and where you land within the range depends on a mix of factors— your background, your skills, and how your contributions align with internal equity . To help start the conversation, the current salary range for this role is $121,000–$166,400 in Toronto. If the role is available in other locations, the range may differ to reflect local market factors.
