Job Title: Parts & Service Department Manager
Location: Kamloops
Job Type: Full Time
Wage Range: The annual salary for this role is typically $85,000 to $150,000 per year and represents a range across all of PrairieCoast’s BC and Alberta locations. It is influenced by various factors, including job-related skills, experience, relevant training, and work location.
In compliance with the BC provincial government mandates, we are incorporating broad wage ranges into this posting to adhere to the wage transparency requirements. PrairieCoast equipment is a top performing John Deere dealership with 11 locations throughout Northern Alberta and British Columbia. Our employees are the backbone to our success and our most important resource. A significant portion of PrairieCoast equipment is owned by employees and we offer a RRSP and TFSA eligible Employee Share Ownership Plan.

As a Parts And Service Department Manager You Will Be responsible for managing parts and service operations and personnel within the dealership. The manager maximizes return on investment by optimizing department processes and ensures internal and external customer satisfaction. The manager grows profitable service labor sales and profitable parts sales and exercises disciplined expense control. The manager attracts, retains and develops talent, promotes the company’s culture and core values, and ensures a positive work environment.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- 3+ years’ experience in Parts and / or Service Department operations
- Familiar with John Deere and competitive products, direct John Deere experience is preferred
- Previous management or supervisory experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Basic understanding of financial principles relative to Parts and Service Department operations
- Ability to analyze and interpret internal reports
- Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions
- Ability to write and speak effectively to individuals and groups
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends
