A Brief Overview

The DC Specialist, Account Logistics plays a critical role in maintaining the seamless movement of goods through ASICS' supply chain by serving as the primary liaison between ASICS and its third-party logistics provider. On a daily basis, this position is responsible for monitoring and facilitating all PTO transactions processed through the vendor, which include receiving, shipping, expedites, re-routes, and returns. To ensure shipments are executed accurately and efficiently, the DC Specialist, Account Logistics will collaborate closely with key internal teams including Customer Service, Inbound Logistics, Account Managers, and Finance, as well as work directly with customers to guarantee that all shipments are processed in accordance with customer-specific compliance guides. Beyond daily operations, this position also provides administrative support to the compliance department by identifying and researching the root causes of shipment issues, failures, and delays — with a particular focus on those resulting in chargebacks and customer complaints — to help drive continuous improvement across logistics operations. To be effective in this role, the DC Specialist, Account Logistics must maintain a comprehensive understanding of all company operations, including warehouse and transportation systems, shipping administrative duties, and the processes and procedures that support the daily functions of the business

What You'll Do

Record, monitor & track shipments and transactions with 3PL partners Maintain excel spreadsheet of all on delivery orders at 3PL location including shipping status and other relevant information Resolve logistics issues, discrepancies and delays Coordinate outbound freight operations with warehouses, carriers and internal teams Provide administrative support to the compliance department Support other administrative duties Adheres to all company policies and procedures Embodies and demonstrates company ethics and values Abides by all federal, state and local laws

How You'll Be Successful

Strong communication and organizational skills Knowledge of supply chain logistics processes and terminology Problem solving and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel utilized for reporting, tracking, and data management Strong sense of ownership with the ability to work independently and deliver results Proactive and self-sufficient with the ability to prioritize and execute tasks without direct oversight Ability to be flexible and willing to work extended hours when necessary Must be able to see, hear, speak and write clearly in order to communicate with employees and/or other customers Must be able to use hands to finger; handle, feel and type; reach with hands and arms Must be able to count Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, climb ladders, some occasional lifting Able to occasionally lift, move and carry up to 20 pounds without assistance

What You'll Need

Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) or 2 yrs equivalent combination of training, education and experience required 1-2 years Working knowledge of Manhattan WMS preferred 2-3 years Computer skills: Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SAP required 3-5 years related experience in logistics or supply chain preferred
