**POSITION TITLE:**Psychometrist (1.0 FTE)

SALARY RANGE:$72614-$97090 per year (based on a 1.0 FTE)

POSITION SUMMARY: The Psychometrist is responsible to administer standardized intellectual tests and other measures to identify learning disabilities, problems and strengths related to achievement; specify needs for individualized teaching approaches and/or special programming; recommend further involvement with specialists, agencies or institutions. Interpretation of test results is communicated through written reports and orally to parents, teachers and the multi-disciplinary team to assist in making important decisions about the student’s personal/educational future. Psychometrists are also involved with School Program Teams in other activities, such as behaviour management, under the supervision of a psychologist.

QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from a master’s degree program in psychology or equivalent qualification with competencies in the assessment and intervention with children and adolescents.

The recruitment process requires a criminal background check for work with vulnerable persons.
