Position Purpose

Minimum Qualifications

Previous experience in the use of parks/lawn maintenance equipment;

Position Summary
To assist with services necessary to maintain the quality of operations and appearance of the parks, sports fields, beaches and other municipal facilities.
Responsibilities
- Opening and closing of park gates and washrooms;
- Assists with parks maintenance, including grass mowing, picking up of litter, checking garbage and replacing bags;
- Cleaning and stocking washrooms;
- Monitoring park grounds/beach area and reporting any damage to the Manager;
- And other related duties as assigned.
- Participate in the Town's Health and Safety Program and follows safety practices in work methods and procedures; observe and comply with all relevant Health & Safety regulations.
