Support Worker
Passionate about providing compassionate care? Join our team as a Support Worker and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young adults aged 2-17.
This role involves before-school and/or after-school childcare, including full days on PD days and breaks.
Responsibilities
Provide respite care and support with daily activities
Administer medications as instructed Prepare meals meeting dietary needs Assist with mobility, transfers, and G-tubes Offer companionship and plan engaging activities Perform light housekeeping
Qualifications
Experience in caregiving
Knowledge of medication procedures Physical ability to lift and assist Strong communication and caring attitude Confidentiality commitment
Requirements
Valid First Aid
Recent Police Vulnerable Sector Check CFS Intervention Check Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
