The Cybersecurity and Risk Division is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the government’s IT risk management practice and cybersecurity operations.

The Division is also responsible for legislation, regulation, and policy promoting strong cybersecurity practices and literacy across Manitoba’s public and private sectors.

This Division ensures the protection of sensitive information, critical infrastructure, and digital assets while supporting secure innovation and technology adoption.

This Division is responsible to provide guidance and strategy to Digital and Solutions Technology Division to execute the cybersecurity strategy and day-to-day operations.
