Job Specifics

We are seeking locum coverage to take over a panel of patients. We are a teaching clinic (for medical students and residents) and we are willing to train/teach to increase your skills as well (eg. office procedures). You will be seeing overflow from three well-established family practices (Drs. Su, Chen, and Liu), with a diverse patient population ranging from newborns to geriatrics.

  • LFP billing
  • Split negotiable
  • No on-call hours
  • Flexible daily hours; ideally 2–5 full days per week (8:30/9:00 am to 4:00–5:00 pm)

Kits Family Practice , a well-established clinic and patient-centered practice in the Kitsilano area is looking to expand their team. They are a full-scope family practice that also offers OBGYN, pediatrics, prenatal and postnatal care, and procedures. This clinic has 6 exam rooms and a physician’s office, with 4 part-time physicians working in the clinic. The clinic conducts appointments both in person and virtually. The patient population is full-scope, offering pap-smears, vaccinations, joint injections, skin biopsies, IUD insertions and other office procedures.

Languages: English required.

Parking/Bike/Transit information: Free underground parking available. Easily accessible by transit (No.9 Broadway bus route or No. 16 bus route Arbutus Street)

Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:00pm

Other relevant information: Very collegial and supportive office environment. It is a teaching clinic so there are often residents on site, and patients are used to having younger colleagues and trainees. Lab and Westcoast Imaging are 5 blocks away.
