About the role
CT Technologist (Computed Tomography Technologist) Location: Kamloops, BC, Canada Contract Duration: 4 weeks (with possible extension) Pay Range: $50 – $64 CAD per hour (based on experience) Employment Type: Contract Work Environment: On-site

Key Responsibilities Perform CT imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols and safety standards Prepare and position patients for CT examinations, ensuring comfort and safety Administer contrast media as required and monitor patients for adverse reactions Operate CT scanners and related imaging equipment efficiently and accurately Ensure adherence to radiation safety and ALARA principles Review images for quality and completeness prior to radiologist interpretation Communicate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare team members Maintain accurate documentation and patient records using PACS/RIS systems Comply with hospital policies, infection control standards, and BC regulatory requirements Top Qualifications Active registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia (CHCPBC) as a Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) CAMRT certification (required) CT certification / advanced CT training (required or strongly preferred) Minimum 6 months of recent CT experience (hospital/acute care preferred) Current BLS certification Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently Excellent communication and patient‑care skills
