Woodland Family Practice, Located At East 1st & Nanaimo, Is Seeking Short-term Locums For Summer Coverage. Flexible, Part-time Arrangements Are Available For As Much Time The Locum Is Willing To Give, With Options To Provide Care Both In Person And Via Telehealth, For The Following Dates
August 2026 December 2026 - January 2027
Doctors at this clinic also provide long-term care and obstetrical care. Opportunities in these areas may be available if interested.
Woodland Family Practice, located on East 1st & Nanaimo, is seeking both short and long-term locums for flexible part-time arrangements with options to provide care both in person and telehealth. They are a full-scope family practice with excellent MOAs and a supportive learning environment.
The clinic has 5 exam rooms with 3 physicians working in the clinic at a time. The clinic also has a clinical pharmacist on-site once a week. The clinic conducts appointments both virtually and in person. The patient population is culturally diverse with patients ranging from newborn to geriatric. They are using MedAccess EMR and are part of the LFP billing program. Doctors at this clinic provide long-term care and obstetrical care also. Opportunities in those areas may be available if interested.
Woodland Family Practice is located north of First Avenue on Nanaimo Street. We are easily accessible by transit, bike and car. Nanaimo Pharmacy is across the street. Our community neighbours include Sunrise Physiotherapy, Renzullo’s Italian deli, and To Live For bakery.
Languages: English, Mandarin and Cantonese considered an asset but not required
