Position Summary

As a Shipper & Receiver, you will play a key role in keeping warehouse operations organized, efficient, and dependable. In this role, your focus will go beyond basic shipping and receiving tasks—you will support the flow of materials across the business by ensuring products are received, stored, and distributed accurately and on time.

You will be responsible for maintaining clear, practical processes within the warehouse, contributing to a culture of accountability, safety, and attention to detail. This role requires someone who takes ownership of their work, can identify and address issues directly, and is comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

This position also requires a strong understanding of how warehouse operations impact both manufacturing and field execution. Your ability to think critically, solve problems, and continuously improve processes will be an important part of your success.

Job Description

  • Receive incoming shipments and allocate materials to designated storage locations

  • Safely operate forklifts and other equipment to load, unload, and move materials

  • Verify packages and materials against purchase orders and invoices to ensure accuracy

  • Pick, pack, and process orders efficiently to support manufacturing and field teams

  • Prepare shipping documentation, coordinate with carriers, and confirm delivery requirements

  • Communicate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate records

  • Maintain accurate inventory control and ensure materials are readily accessible

  • Support overall warehouse organization to ensure efficiency, reliability, and workflow consistency

  • Identify inefficiencies and contribute to continuous improvement of warehouse processes

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace in accordance with company policies and safety standards

Requirements

  • Applicants successful in the interview process will be asked to complete a pre-employment assessment as part of the final hiring process

  • Valid Class 5 license, reliable transportation and acceptable driver’s abstract

  • Available to work Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays as needed

  • Experience operating a forklift and pallet jack

  • Physically fit to perform demanding work for extended periods

  • Able to lift at least 50lbs

  • Able to work independently or with a crew

  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail

  • Local or willing to relocate to Central Alberta
