WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
As a key member of the Platform team, you will lead brand engagement for RBCx, reporting directly to the Marketing Director. Collaborating closely with senior stakeholders, you will develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy across multiple formats and will work cross-functionally to ensure content is produced efficiently, while also leveraging your ability to independently create, update, and refine content as needed. From ideation to execution, you will guide and oversee the entire content lifecycle, ensuring it is strategically placed across channels to maximize impact.
Additionally, you will measure and analyze content performance, using key metrics such as engagement, site traffic, PR impact (where applicable), and brand health/funnel metrics to optimize future initiatives.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy across multiple channels and formats, including blogs, articles, newsletters, whitepapers, thought leadership pieces, videos, and website content, aligning with business goals and brand marketing plans.
- Manage content projects to ensure timely delivery and resource allocation.
- Optimize content for performance, working cross-functionally to audit and deploy content for CRO, SEO, and AEO improvements.
- Maintain a tactical content calendar, ensuring alignment with roadmaps and business priorities, and identify themes based on insights and seasonality.
- Oversee content creation and updates, including writing briefs, auditing existing content, and individually creating content when needed.
- Collaborate with Marketing Managers to amplify and repurpose content from RBCx hosted and sponsored events such as keynotes and fireside chats.
- Continuously audit existing content across all formats for updating; facilitate updating as needed
- Monitor all analytics and KPIs associated with our content and optimize as needed
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
Must have
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills
- Proficiency in content management systems (ie Wordpress, etc)
- Demonstrated knowledge and application of SEO/AEO best practices
- Analytical skills to measure content performance and optimize strategies
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Collaborative and growth mindset to work with cross-functional teams
- French language proficiency is considered an asset
This role is located in Toronto, Ontario with a minimum in-office requirement of 3 days (subject to change).
