We are seeking a motivated and detail oriented Talent Acquisition Professional to join our Human Resources Team on a contract basis. As our company continues to grow, this role will support our full cycle recruitment activities. You will help us attract, select and hire top talent across a variety of manufacturing functions while ensuring a positive candidate experience.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to deliver full cycle recruitment processes from sourcing to offers
- Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and develop recruitment strategies
- Screen applications, conduct interviews and assess candidate qualifications
- Co-ordinate interviews, feedback and offers to ensure a seamless hiring process
- Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system.
- Assist with the creation and processing of new hire documents while facilitating a positive onboarding experience
- Identify and develop process improvements and work instructions with a continuous improvement and efficiency mindset
- Perform other HR-related duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience:
- Hold a post secondary diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
- 2-3 years of recruitment or talent acquisition experience, ideally in a manufacturing setting
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers
- Proven organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast paced environment
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and MS Office Suite
- Working towards, or holding a CHRP designation considered an asset
This position involves technologies regulated by the Canadian government’s Controlled Goods Program and the Contract Security Program. In order to obtain the required security clearance, candidates must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents of Canada, have resided in Canada for a minimum of five consecutive years, and meet all other program requirements.
