What are your contributions to the team?
Our team is responsible for the development of the structural analysis tools used on our Global & Challenger business aircraft.
- Work within Core engineering at Bombardier
- Support the development of a python based automatic finite element mesher.
- Participate to the definition and optimization of the standardized structural stress tools of Bombardier
- Integrate third-party in-house application to increase efficiency of developed tool.
- Propose solution to solve problems related to structural stress optimisation.
- Development of a GUI to improve end user experience.
How to thrive in this role?
- You are enrolled in a computer science or mechanical engineering degree.
- You are familiar with python coding (Python 3.0 and over).
- You are familiar with Siemens tools (NX, Sim Center 3D, Team Center) is a plus.
- You are familiar with C++, C# and Visual Studio suite is a plus.
- You have experience with software application testing and debugging
- You are knowledgeable of object-oriented programming methods.
- You are autonomous, result-driven and enthusiastic with strong work ethic.
- You are available for an extension or a longer internship (8 month)

- Location: Administrative Centre (CA)
- Duration: 8 months
- Flexible workplace-Hybrid
It is important to note that our internship opportunities are open to students only, not new graduates. All our interns may be required to occasionally travel outside of Canada for training/work purpose.
