Manager, Contract Implementation

The scope of this position is responsible for implementing new contracts as well as auditing ongoing contracts. The Manager, Contract Implementation manages the full life cycle of the new business launch.
Reporting to the Director, Contract Implementation, the incumbent is tasked with launching the framework of contracts by collaborating with customers, business leaders and internal operations to identify and mitigate implementation challenges and effect a seamless service operations start up.
How You’ll Help
- Analyze the customer’s current operation and focus on the type of competitive solutions that Dedicated can offer to them. Provide data & workflow analysis so the customer can understand trends & historical patterns.
- Apply unique costing models to design solution. This requires working closely with maintenance and operational teams.
- Provide service anlaysis and develop service enhancements to initial and existing contracts, monitor programs for improvement, and meet with customers on a regular basis.
- Ensure resources/work force is in place to effect a successful launch (ie. manage the recruitment of brokers, trained drivers, part-time staff, general and admin support).
- Work with various departments to ensure contract is ready to launch on target date.
- Ensure receipt and payment of invoices, goods/services, ensure budget expense control.
- Manage implementation and on-going operations by providing analysis as well as ideas to ensure that business is continually improving. Periodic meetings and reviews with customers may be required when program changes are made.
- Oversee contract invoicing and reporting. Provide post audit analysis of contracts to ensure they are in line with original costing
Your Skills & Experience:

College diploma with a general business focus plus ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional certification in CITT or P. Log considered assets.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office is mandatory.

Transportation background in dispatch, dock supervision
-
Equipment knowledge is an asset
-
Safety training interest, knowledge and skills is an asset
-
Computer literate in Excel and Word
-
Project management is an asset

- Must have a strong sense of urgency
- Must be able to work under a flexible work schedule
- Must be a hands on operator, trainer, coach and mentor
- Must be able to build and maintain relationships
- Must be a self-starter
