The Material Handler is a key part of Multi-Power's current Production team and is responsible for receiving, maintaining inventory levels and allocation of goods. This position is for a candidate who is detail oriented and loves working in a busy environment!
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Loading and unloading daily shipping trucks as requested

Following purchase order instructions to relocate received goods to allocated staging area or inventory locations

Convey inventory stock level differences of items being restocked to inventory control personnel

General cleanup of warehouses
-
General warehouse organisation daily
-
Construction and/or assembly of crates and containers
-
Physical inventory counts as directed by inventory control personnel

Local parts pick-ups
-
Coordinating with multiple departments to move and stage manufactured parts

Assist inventory control personnel when requested with general warehouse duties: order picking and packing, assembling pallet racking and shelving, etc.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Good communication skills
-
Good organisational skills
-
High School graduate, Grade 12
-
Current driver’s license
-
Physically fit (routinely required to lift items up to 25 kilograms)
