Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our Human Resources team. Reporting directly to the Director of HR, the HRBP will play a critical role in aligning HR strategies with business goals, driving initiatives that enhance organizational performance, and supporting key HR operations. This role is ideal for a forward-thinking, relationship-driven HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels in stakeholder management, strategic HR planning, and complex employee relations matters.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to business leaders on workforce planning, talent management, organizational development, and other HR-related initiatives.
- Initiate and lead strategic HR projects that drive performance, engagement, and culture, ensuring alignment with department and company goals.
- Support annual compensation planning processes in collaboration with Total Rewards, including merit increases and bonus allocation.
- Support the performance management process by coaching leaders on goal setting, feedback, and development planning.
- Analyze talent data and trends to inform strategic decisions related to hiring, retention, and team development.
- Partner with L&D to identify training needs and support the delivery of leadership and professional development programs.
- Provide support on HRIS-related projects and enhancements, ensuring data accuracy, system efficiency, and reporting capabilities.
- Assist with system testing, implementation, and user training where applicable.
- Lead and support employee relations matters including investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions in alignment with legal requirements and company policy.
- Manage and assist with escalated HR cases, including those involving complex employee issues or sensitive topics. Collaborate with legal, compliance, and other departments as needed to mitigate risk.
- Ensure HR policies and practices are in compliance with applicable laws and company standards.
- Provide input on policy updates and assist with communication and training as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree / certificate in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Certification in HR (e.g., CHRP) is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in HR, with a proven track record in management and strategic HR initiatives.
- Hands-on experience with HRIS systems and reporting (UKG preferred)
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR practices, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- Experience in employee engagement initiatives and organizational development.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
