Site Superintendent (High-End Commercial/Hospitality Renovation), Out-Of-Town Term: 2-year mountain assignment | Travel: Road-based, extended stays onsite
Project Value: $20–$50M | Compensation: Competitive salary
The Opportunity Hit the open road and spend two years in the mountains leading a high-end commercial renovation. You’ll own the site from mobilization to turnover—driving schedule, safety, quality, and coordination on a complex conversion/renovation/tenant improvement/fit-up project.
What You’ll Do
- Lead day-to-day site operations from ground-break to closeout
- Build and drive the master and 3-week look-ahead schedules; anticipate roadblocks
- Direct trade partners with clear, safety-first leadership and tight quality control
- Coordinate site logistics, deliveries, inspections, and change work
- Maintain documentation (daily reports, site photos, RFIs coordination with PM team)
- Champion safety culture and enforce company and regulatory standards
- Hand over a clean, complete project—on time and on spec
What You Bring
- 5+ years in a Superintendent role with a reputable General Contractor
- Full-cycle delivery of commercial or residential conversion/renovation/TI/fit-up projects in the $20–$50M range
- Proven track record managing schedules, trades, and site logistics on active/occupied or complex interiors
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership under pressure
- Red Seal or Gold Seal certification preferred (other safety tickets an asset)
- Willingness to travel and remain onsite for the duration of the assignment
