Role Overview: We are looking for aTax Analystto join our finance team and support our rapidly growing business. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced in managing complex tax matters across multiple jurisdictions. As our Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the company remains fully compliant with all tax regulations. Your key responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities:
-Prepare tax filings to ensure full compliance with tax regulations.
This includes GST/HST, provincial sales tax, corporate income tax, and withholding tax for a company engaged in multinational transactions.
-Prepare internal and external tax reports, including regional and HQ tax reports.
Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely submission of all required tax-related documentation.
-Manage quarterlycurrent and deferred taxprovisions and ensure timely, accurate reporting.
Prepare calculations, supporting schedules, and reconciliations for quarterly provision reviews.
-Coordinate and review the transfer pricing documents with tax consultants.
Support annual transfer pricing updates and ensure compliance with global documentation requirements.
-Lead and coordinate internal and external audits related to tax matters.
Provide required documents, respond to queries, and ensure audits are completed efficiently.
-Work closely with external tax consultants on complex or specialized tax issues.
Assist in gathering data, reviewing recommendations, and implementing tax strategies when necessary.
-Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on the company’s tax position.
Provide internal updates and recommend actions to maintain compliance and optimize tax planning.
Other financial tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager.
Qualifications and Skills:
-Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.
A relevant academic background to support technical tax and compliance responsibilities.
-Minimum 3 years of relevant tax experience.
Hands-on experience in corporate tax compliance, reporting, or advisory work.
-Solid knowledge of sales tax, corporate income tax, and withholding tax.
Ability to apply tax rules accurately and manage end-to-end compliance processes.
-Experience in transfer pricing and multinational tax compliance preferred.
Familiarity with global tax requirements and cross-border transactions is an asset.
-Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Capable of interpreting data, managing deadlines, and explaining tax concepts clearly.

The expected base salary range for this role is CAD $70,000. to $75,000. Final compensation will be based on a variety of factors, including experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the position. This job posting represents a current opportunity within the company.
