About the role
Some of what you will do:
Deliver timely, effective and efficient invoicing/reporting and financial reconciliation relative to the Fixturing, Store Development and Construction functions. This position is a cross functional role, supporting the Construction/FX and all supporting areas relative to project execution as it pertain to financial accountability and timely delivery of assets required to facilitate a project. This role is responsible for maintaining the TMS Database of suppliers and contractors supporting the functions listed above. Working in collaboration with the Fixtures program lead, this role includes coordination of fixture requirement on a wide variety of store development related projects including rollouts, capital expenditures, disaster re-builds, and large corporate re-configurations in various areas of the business.
Specifically, You Will:
- Coordinate and execute purchase/work orders for store projects (new, renovation, relocation, reset, closure), including vendor follow-ups and onboarding.
- Serve as the point of contact for EWAY orders, ensuring process efficiency and proper allocation.
- Support fixturing operations by processing orders, maintaining systems, and partnering with cross-functional teams to align with merchandising and space needs.
- Source, evaluate, and manage vendor quotations and performance to ensure project scope, budget, and timelines are met.
- Reconcile project-related invoices, track spend against budget, and support reporting for forecasting and variance analysis.
- Act as a liaison for system upgrades and training related to the TMS database; support general project administration and correspondence.
Some of what you need:
- Completion of High School Education
- Post-secondary education – business administration, finance, facilities, construction
- Strong organizational skills/attention to detail
- Strong PC skills in a MS Office environment
- Experience with fixturing/racking knowledge is an asset
- Experience with a Work order Management System is an asset
- Bilingualism (English/French) is considered an asset
- 1-2 years exposure to Staples work environment is an asset
- 3-5 years experience with Multi Site Facilities or Construction – WO/PO systems – invoicing, financial reporting, project management an asset
