Work Arrangement - Onsite, Afternoon Shift (4x10’s, 1:30 PM to Midnight), occasional overtime

What you’ll do
- Welding Operations: Perform welding of specialty materials including pressure pipe using MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques, following welding procedures and interpreting weld symbols accurately. Daily tasks include working independently in your own weld booth with pipe rollers, roller stands, and positioners to achieve precise welds.
- Fabrication and Repair: Evaluate worn or defective parts for repair, build up worn areas as required, and fabricate specialty tools in a clean shop environment.
- Collaboration and Support: Participate in crew talks, receive assigned work from lead hand, and support other trades as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Quality and Compliance: Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication and weld buildup, and complete procedure tests to meet required welding standards.
- Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture.
What you’ll bring
Must-haves:
- B Ticket with A classification
- Crane and forklift certification
- Proven experience in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols accurately
Nice-to-haves:
- Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB) tickets
- Experience working in a clean, industrial shop environment
- Familiarity with plasma cutting operations
- Previous experience working independently within a team setting

Compensation $45-47.92 depending on experience
