Summary:
National Process Equipment Inc. ("NatPro") is Canada's largest national distributor of pumps, service and repairs, integrated systems packages, compressors and related process equipment. Founded in 1998, NatPro is headquartered in Calgary, Alberta and operates out of eight locations across Eastern and Western Canada. NatPro is focused on serving customers in the oil & gas, municipal, fire, mining and general industrial markets.
National Process Equipment (DXP Natpro) is looking for aService Coordinatorfor our Edmonton, Alberta Service Center. The Service Coordinator will be responsible for day-to-day functions related to coordinating service orders towards ensuring complete, accurate and on time performance.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Be the first point of contact for the assigned service orders.
- Prepare comprehensive project reports for submission to end users, NPE Represented Manufacturer’s and internal departments.
- Prepare all the required system documents towards ensuring effective and efficient order processing. Work directly with represented manufacturers to obtain technical information, costing, and special requirements.
Safety Responsibilities
- Do everything reasonable to ensure the health and safety of themselves and co-workers. under their supervision
- Maintain cyclical and as required safety tasks as directed by the health and safety program and jurisdictional health and safety legislation
- Regularly communicate with employees regarding occupational health and safety, observing performance for compliance to the program Immediately notify and liaise with the Health and safety department regarding OH&S visits inspection or inquiries and health or safety related incidents.
Required Qualifications
- Five (5) years of experience working within a Service Department.
- The ability to understand, implement and practice the principals of project management.
- The ability to work on multiple tasks, and prioritize while meeting deadlines.
- Strong verbal, written, and analytical skills. Better than average computer skills, specifically Excel, Word and Outlook.
Work Conditions
- Travel may be required.
- Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals.
- Overtime may be required.
- Lifting or moving up to 10 lbs.
