The Gund Company Canada has an immediate opening for a full-time CNC Amada Turret Punch Operator to join our team!
Shift: First Shift - 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday
Hourly Wage: Starting at $24.50 Work Location: Fergus, Ontario (Canada)

Job Summary CNC Amada Turret Punch Operator
As a CNC Amada Turret Punch Operator, you will play a key role in supporting production operations, ensuring that parts are fabricated to meet work order specifications and customer requirements. This includes loading and operating various CNC production machinery and adhering to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities CNC Amada Turret Punch Operator
Operate production equipment Inspect products to ensure they meet company quality, quantity, and customer standards. Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following all safety protocols. Troubleshooting and performing routine maintenance on production machinery as needed. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications CNC Amada Turret Punch Operator
High School Diploma or GED with prior hands-on, vocational, or job-related course work/training, or any similar combination of education and experience. Experience with CNC Turret Punch machines or similar equipment. Strong basic math skills and the ability to use measuring tools (tape measures, calipers, micrometers, etc.). Flexibility to work overtime and adjust to emergency production needs.
Preferred
Previous experience in a custom manufacturing environment. Familiarity with reading blueprints and technical drawings. Experience with Amada Turret Punch or similar equipment.
Work Environment CNC Amada Turret Punch Operator
This role is performed in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, fumes, and chemicals. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required. The position may involve repetitive tasks and manual labour, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods of time. Ability to lift to 40 pounds and perform manual tasks as required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.
