Job Details

Description We are looking for an AutoCAD Technician to support our Customer Solutions team by creating accurate, high‑quality drawings for non‑catalogue and custom cabinet items. This role plays a key part in enhancing the customer experience by translating concepts and sketches into clear, production‑ready drawings.

What You’ll Do

  • Create 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings from Customer Service sketches, including front, section, and top views for complex orders
  • Produce drawings to support custom quotes at CSR request
  • Provide guidance to Customer Service on the feasibility of custom designs
  • Respond to production questions related to special or custom items
  • Create drawings for internal requests as needed

What You Bring

  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and the ability to learn new software quickly
  • Strong math skills, including working with fractions, decimals, and measurements
  • Excellent spatial and visual thinking to interpret order details, identify missing information, and assess feasibility
  • High attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate drawings
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical information
  • Cabinet or construction knowledge is a strong asset

Experience & Education

  • AutoCAD certificate, formal training, or equivalent hands‑on experience
  • Experience or familiarity with cabinet construction or related trades is preferred
