Inside Sales Specialist
About the role
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established Canadian manufacturer that is expanding with a brand-new distribution centre in Calgary. We are assisting them in hiring two Inside Sales Representatives to support Western Canadian customers.
Reporting to the Inside Sales manager in Toronto, you will support local and regional customers. This is an in-office role focused on order processing, quotations, and customer service in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
In this role, you will:
- Manage customer inquiries by phone and email regarding pricing, availability, and order status
- Accurately process orders using internal systems
- Prepare and follow up on quotations
- Review and interpret basic technical drawings and specifications
- Coordinate with internal distribution teams on order fulfillment
- Conduct track and trace to update clients on delivery status
- Support field sales representatives and distributor partners
- Provide end-to-end customer support from order entry through post-delivery follow-up
What we are looking for
- Experience in inside sales, customer service, or order desk roles
- Comfort working with technical or industrial products
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Solid math skills related to pricing and discounts
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort learning ERP systems
- Experience working with distributors or wholesale channels
