Giant Tiger Wholesale is looking to hire a permanent Receiving Dock Associate for our brand-new, fully automated 660,000 square foot distribution centre in Johnstown, ON! GTW can offer paid material handling equipment training, full medical/dental benefits, a store discount and 24/7 onsite gym access.

Giant Tiger Wholesale - We can offer:
- Starting wage of $19.43/hour!
- Additional $2/hour for hours worked 9:00pm - 6:00am;
- Automatic milestone wage increases at 1040 hours, 2080 hours, 4160 hours and annually after that;
- Giant Tiger Store Discount - 20% on clothing, 10% on grocery!
- Full medical/dental benefits available;
- 24/7 access to onsite gym; games room and full Micromarket in lunchroom with subsidized snacks and meals;
- Weekly summer barbeques and staff events all year;

Highlights:
- Assisting lumpers in unloading containers using a low lift double pallet jack;
- Assist receivers in the offloading and sorting of receiving goods based process;
- Run receiving pallets from the receiving dock to cross aisle locations or drive in rack locations;
- Assist in organization and tidiness of the dock areas (basic clean up, ensuring supply of empty pallets, store dunnage, etc.) in accordance with company standards;
- Repack and container unloading as necessary;
- Lift boxes ranging 1 - 50 pounds;
- Comply with OSHA and MSDS Standards
Job Requirements:
- Completion of High School.
- Class G2 or higher driver’s licence
- Experience as an Order Picker or a similar position.
- Must be capable of standing and walking for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift heavy items for extended periods of time.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Basic PC skills.
- Voice picking or Manhattan Warehouse Management System experience is an asset.
- Successful candidates must be in good standing for both performance and health & safety.
Schedule
Tuesday - Saturday, 6:00am - 2:30pm
