About the role
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform technical & mechanical tasks such as grinding, chemical cleaning, process treatments, etc.
- Safely execute production and service provisions under controlled conditions
- Organize work to maintain accountability and traceability
- Control and monitoring of critical to quality items
- Participation in 5s, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and other continuous improvement initiatives
- Work independently and as part of a team in a production environment
- Maintain proper documentation and traceability for work performed
- Carry out assigned production tasks safely and in accordance with company procedures
- Read and interpret blueprints and follow documented work instructions
Additional Job Duties
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S practices
- Perform other related duties as assigned

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and utilize inspection equipment (micrometers, verniers, etc.)

Ability to work with co-workers and external contacts in a positive and professional manner

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND REQUIRED
- Minimum high school completion
- Technical Diploma
WORK EXPERINCE REQUIRED
- 1-2 yrs experience assembling small components/hardware installation in a manufacturing environment.
Physical Demands
- Repetitive tasks such as assembly operations
- Position involves sitting for long periods of time
- Ability to lift and handle items weighing between 10–30 lbs
- Periods of sitting or standing during work activities
Environmental Hazards
- Shop floor environment
- Potential exposure to chemicals and cleaning agents
- Slip or trip hazards in manufacturing areas
- Repetitive motion

Hourly wage: $22.55 to $25.11
**Must be legally allowed to work in Canada
**Must pass the Controlled Goods Program security background screening
