WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
The Avion Delivery team is undertaking multiple complex enterprise-wide initiatives as part of RBC’s ongoing plan to Enhance the Avion platform and improve member acquisition and engagement. In this role you will be responsible for leading a multi disciplined agile squad in delivering upon the ambitious product roadmap.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Supporting the team in achieving the sprint goals and removing any impediments that hinder progress.
- Promote collaboration among cross-functional team members, including developers, business analysts, UX designers, and architects.
- Work closely with the Product Owner to ensure the product backlog is well-defined, prioritized, and meets the definition of ready.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular updates on team performance and delivery timelines.
- Apply change and risk management principles to ensure the team can adapt to evolving business needs and priorities.
- Proactively identify risks and dependencies, working with the team and stakeholders to mitigate them effectively.
- Facilitate big room planning sessions and other collaborative events to align multiple teams on shared goals.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
Must have:
- Minimum 5 years proven experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or similar role in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
- Strong understanding of Agile principles, Scrum framework, and Kanban practices.
- Excellent facilitation, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with team members and stakeholders effectively.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and navigate complex organizational structures.
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or equivalent Agile certifications are preferre
