Your New Role

As a Member Development Executive (MDE), you will play a key role in driving new business growth across Canada. This sales role is focused on acquiring new clients, expanding relationships within existing accounts, and achieving annual revenue targets. You will leverage thought leadership content, social selling strategies, and consultative sales techniques to engage senior-level decision-makers and position the organization’s research, membership, and engagement solutions. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless client experience from prospecting through onboarding.

What You Need to Do

Develop and execute new business development strategies to generate revenue growth. Prospect and engage senior executives through a consultative sales approach. Build and manage a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities. Present customized proposals that effectively communicate the organization's value proposition. Leverage social media, thought leadership, and industry insights to support business development efforts. Partner with internal stakeholders to onboard and support new member organizations.

What You'll Need to Succeed

4–8 years of professional sales or business development experience, ideally within a membership-based, subscription and relationship-driven B2B environment. Bachelor's degree and 2 years in a revenue-generating sales role. Strong business acumen, corporate communication skills, and consultative selling capabilities. Proven track record of prospecting, relationship building, and achieving sales targets. Experience selling to senior leaders and decision-makers within a B2B environment. Knowledge of HubSpot is considered an asset. Familiarity with Sandler Sales Methodology and/or Challenger Sales principles is preferred. Strong understanding of social selling, thought leadership, and modern prospecting techniques. Fluency in French is considered an asset.
