Position Summary Our growing business is seeking a motivated entry-level Project Supply Analyst to support our inventory and purchasing operations. If you are a detail-oriented individual with a strong interest in supply chain management and a willingness to learn, we want to hear from you! In this role, you will assist with analyzing material needs, researching vendors, and supporting the planning, procurement, storage, and distribution of materials for the Power Division at K-Line Construction Ltd.
Our ideal candidate is a strong communicator with excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. To succeed in this role, you should have a foundational understanding of supply chain and inventory processes, along with a willingness to learn and grow within the organization. Ultimately, your role is to help ensure the Power Division has timely and reliable access to the materials needed to operate efficiently.
Role And Responsibilities
- Tracking Material Deliveries and Stock
- Auditing Deliveries
- Materials Management for Common Stock and Project Stock
- On-site Material Management
- Create Materials List and Price Materials for job scopes
- Maintain relationships and negotiate with suppliers
- Evaluating suppliers based on delivery speed for their products and services, price and quality
- Coordinate material logistics with field resources
- Obtain Material Shop Drawings from vendors
- Warranties and Returns
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Excellent in the use of spreadsheets
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the proven ability to work well with all levels of management and staff
- Familiarity with supply chain and inventory management systems (asset)
- Analytical mind with excellent problem-solving abilities
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 25-50 pounds at a time.
