Job Description This is a 3 month contract located in Toronto, ON/ Hybrid (2 days/ week).
Job Responsibilities
Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and release planning. Support the Product Owner in maintaining a prioritized, well-defined backlog with clear acceptance criteria and dependencies. Partner with the Technical Lead, Developers, Testers, and Architects to ensure sprint work is planned, estimated, sequenced, and delivered effectively. Track sprint progress, team capacity, velocity, burndown/burnup, blockers, risks, and sprint commitments. Identify, escalate, and help remove impediments affecting delivery across Ping Identity, React UI, Java services, testing, environments, and integrations. Coordinate with the Project Manager to align sprint execution with the integrated implementation plan, milestones, migration activities, and release readiness. Promote Agile best practices, team accountability, collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement. Facilitate dependency management across internal teams, external systems, security review, infrastructure, release management, and testing groups. Ensure the definition of ready, definition of done, test readiness, and acceptance criteria are consistently applied. Support release planning, production readiness, post-launch stabilization, and defect triage coordination as needed.
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in software application delivery, including Agile delivery experience with global teams, including Peru and Mexico. Experience working in an Agile organization using Scrum, XP, Kanban, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). Strong background in application delivery to guide and mentor teams in Adopting Agile principles and practices. Strong communicator with strong facilitation and collaboration skills. Any Certification(s) in Agile methodologies (e.g., CSM, CSPO, CSP, PMI ACP, SA, SPC, RTE, SSM, SASM).
Nice-To-Have Skills
CIAM experience or any regulatory environment.
Spanish or French proficiency
Previous Banking Experience Previous practical experience in Backlog management and agile metrics. Power BI.
Soft Skills Required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of producing clear security guidance documents and presenting risk to diverse audiences. Ability to build collaborative relationships with engineering teams and navigate organizational dynamics to drive security outcomes.
Education
A degree in Engineering or Computer Science, Business, or related is required.
