Position Title Senior Executive, Sales

Report To East Malaysia & Government Commercial Sales Head

Position Summary The Senior Executive, Sales is responsible for managing travel agent accounts by executing effective sales and marketing strategies, delivering customer-centric service, and ensuring operational excellence. This role plays a key part in driving revenue growth by building strong relationships with travel trade partners, identifying new business opportunities, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to optimize sales performance in line with company goals.

Key Accountability

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with travel agencies, trade partners, and tourism boards to promote sales and ensure consistent business support, in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Identify growth opportunities and implement sales strategies and policies to meet revenue goals, while managing within allocated overhead budgets and monitoring sales KPIs and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support initiatives that optimize revenue from travel agency channels, direct digital channels and enhance profitability.
  • Gather market intelligence and feedback from travel trade partners to analyze regional sales performance, monitor competitor activities, and provide actionable recommendations to management for continuous improvement.
  • Provide administrative and ad hoc support to the assistant manager and regional head and assist with any other duties as deemed appropriate.
  • Share knowledge and best practices with junior colleagues to support their development and contribute to team performance.

Qualification & Working Experience

  • Diploma in Business, Economics, Accounting, or Marketing with minimum 5 years’ experience in sales and commercial activities; OR
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Accounting, or Marketing with minimum 3 years’ experience in sales and commercial activities.
  • Strong understanding of the aviation market, including business culture, regulatory environment, and market trends, is an added advantage.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and effectively managing a sales pipeline.
