How You’ll Make An Impact

  • Lead a high-performing team: Report directly to the Controller and set strategic performance goals and objectives that align with the Bridgewater Bank's financial vision
  • Drive operational excellence: Oversee and enhance allocation methodologies, financial transaction processes, and results to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Champion financial integrity: Ensure all financial systems and information are accurate, efficient, and fully compliant with corporate policies and procedures.
  • Solving complex problems: Proactively identify and resolve operational control issues, developing effective solutions to mitigate risk.
  • Strengthen controls and compliance: Provide expert recommendations and implement robust controls for both internal and external audits.
  • Influence key initiatives: Represent the finance team on project steering committees and working groups, providing a critical perspective on financial processes and controls.

What You Bring To The Table

  • You have a post-secondary degree, certificate or diploma in accounting or business.
  • You’re an accounting professional and have a CPA designation.
  • You have at least five years of leadership experience in an accounting environment and have a minimum of ten years of accounting experience.

AMA is a multi-service organization representing 1 million Albertans. While most often known for our roadside assistance program, we also offer travel, registries and insurance services, Alberta’s largest driver education school, a member rewards program and member events in our communities.
